Itinerary

  • 06:00 AM – Departure from Nairobi (Kencom)
  • Guests assemble at Kencom House Bus Stop, Nairobi CBD (a central and accessible meeting point).
  • Meet your professional driver-guide and receive a short briefing about the day’s activities.
  • Depart Nairobi and head towards Naivasha via the Nairobi–Nakuru Highway.
  • Short stop at the Great Rift Valley Viewpoint for photography and scenic views.
  • 08:30 AM – Arrival at Hell’s Gate (Elsa Gate)
  • Register at the park entrance and meet your park guide.
  • 09:00 AM – Hiking & Trekking Begins
  • Walk through dramatic volcanic cliffs, savannah plains, and unique rock formations.
  • Trek towards Fischer’s Tower (a famous volcanic plug and rock-climbing hotspot).
  • Proceed to the gorge trail — explore hot springs, caves, and towering canyon walls.
  • Along the way, enjoy close encounters with wildlife such as zebras, giraffes, gazelles, and baboons.
  • 1:00 PM – Picnic Lunch
  • Enjoy a packed lunch at a designated picnic site inside the park.
  • Relax and take in the fresh air of Naivasha’s natural surroundings.

  • 2:30 PM – Olkaria Geothermal Spa (Optional)
  • Soak in Africa’s largest natural geothermal spa, famous for its warm, mineral-rich waters.

  • Begin return journey to Nairobi.
